House A is the detached one on the south side of the two blocks in the Tepecik Evleri project. After the entrance hall, kitchen and living areas on the ground floor, which open to each other without interruption, a semi-open pergola is reached where you can enjoy most of your daily life in Bodrum. The closed, semi-open and open areas are designed to support each other. The outer infill walls that envelope the living area and kitchen on the ground floor are designed as stone, and the niches opened on these walls are designed to include TV units, bookshelves, specialized study and reading area shelves. Thus, the closed-semi-open space relationship frequently seen in traditional architecture and the functional niches on the structural outer walls of houses have been reinterpreted.
